We TV‘s season two Deb’s House” winner Audrey Holloway, has released her self-titled debut EP via Mizay Ent.

All of the songs, were written by Audrey Holloway.

The project is a great cohesive body of work, for the new artist.

Audrey‘s expressiveness and production, immediately separate her from the current crop of R&B female artists.

From the bouncy “No. 1 Girl,” with Audrey‘s elegant vocals completing the track.

To the ballad, “Perfect Lover,” produced by Tyquam Alexander and Jerry Jackson.

The idea of waking up to you daily
It makes this life worth living
Knowing everyday that I got you baby.

The EP ends with “Even If You Don’t Mean It” and “Try It.

As the granddaughter of R&B icon Loleatta Holloway, Audrey Lakel hails from a family steeped in music history.

While she has actively pursued a professional career as a paralegal with law school aspirations, the Atlanta native entered Deb’s House with a renewed sense of commitment to her true passion: singing.

UB spoke with Audrey fresh off her win from “Deb’s House” and she shared with us when she discovered her gift for songwriting.

When I was a young girl, like, literally 8, 9, years old, I used to write songs all the time, so many, many years I’ve been writing songs and little things. I have a phone full of voice notes and recordings that, if I’m just driving and something comes to my head, I sing it in my phone. Notes and notes and notes full of lyrics, so love writing music.
